Vaso de Oro

El Vaso de Oro is one of barcelona’s institution. Located in barceloneta, the old fishermen part of town, this place is specialy known for its beer. It's considered the best place for a beer. You can even choose the kind of glass you drink from.
Working since 1962, it follows the 3rd generation of the Segoria family. And its a classic in tapas. A long bar where you have to stand, generaly full of people talking loud, with loads of emotion. People from the neighborhood stand together with other people coming from far away places and tourists, all of them waiting for a taste of fish, caldos, warm dishes...
